Just For Men wanted to create a campaign around the hashtag #healthmatters
GOAL: Heighten awareness around preventable health issues among men by letting them know, 'feeling good is just as important as looking good'.
STRATEGY: From May 1 thru June 21 (Father's Day) Just For Men will partner with The Movember Foundation and create the annual 'ArtStache' contest.
ArtStache is when men throughout the world use Just For Men Mustache & Beard products to create art by coloring their facial hairs.
During the contest individuals will vote for who they believe is the best ArtStacher. In addition to voting individuals will also be able to make donations by visiting www.justformenfoundation.org or tagging their Twitter/Facebook post with the hashtag #healthmatters.
Just For Men will co-sponsor a Mobile Health Unit with The Movember Foundation.
From May 1 thru June 21 (Father's Day) the Mobile Health Unit will travel the nation and provide free physical exams to men and boys of all ages.
Both JFM and TMF aims to raise awareness around #healthmatters and encourage early detection and treatment of health issues among men and boys. During this time frame health care providers, public policy makers, media, and individuals will all have the opportunity to encourage men and boys to seek regular medical advice and early treatment for health issues.
