Growing up in a place as diverse as New York City I’ve always been a believer that culture is the supreme driver of both individual and brand potential. Wanting to validate my belief, I set-out to learn all I could about brands. I'm a student of what I like to refer to as the ‘4W’s’ of branding, that’s right I would come to understand the what, where, when, and why brands work. I've always known that If I could figure out the 4W’s of branding I'd be able to better understand not only branding but also the business of branding.
And so my journey began some 15 years ago and it doesn’t appear to be coming to an end anytime soon. In today’s era consumers continue to evolve at a fast rate so, its only right that brands and the tools used by professionals like myself also evolve. Today’s practices of branding and marketing are different from the practices of yesterday. That being the case, I’m always forward thinking when coming up with creative ideas for clients, ideas that will ensure their brands remain ahead of the curve.
As a result of my experience developing, positioning and/or repositioning brands, I’ve come to serve as a bridge between the consumer and the brand. Connecting brands to culture is what I do, and I’m great at it. There’s something really special about being able to create great new experiences for people, all while gaining loyal brand advocates.
